Who starts a blog, promotes the heck out of it, posts for two weeks then disappears? Well, I’ll tell you. It’s the same kind of person that starts a diet and says “I’m going to eat salad every day” then starts to despise salads. I set myself up for failure thinking I could post every single day.
It’s not that things didn’t happen on any given day. Lord knows something always happens. It’s not that I had nothing to say. I barely ever have lack of a thought. It’s that it became required. It was a self-imposed rule. It made me hate the idea of posting. So, I didn’t.
I’m sure this was no disservice to the few followers of my blog, but it was just rude of me. I let myself down. I’ve decided to resume blogging, but on a schedule that is less demanding. I’ll post when the mood strikes. If you go to the menu bars on the top, right corner, I believe there is a “subscribe” option. If you do, you’ll be notified of a new post. If you don’t, just pop in on occasion and check on me.
Since my last post, I’ve added yet another hobby; 3D printing. I’ll post photos of projects I’m working on. You may even be able to buy them. Or, you could make a special request and I’ll see what I can do. I still haven’t figured out all the ins and outs of this blogging program, but I’m doing my best.
To reiterate, I’m the kind of person who does that. I’ll do better. I’ll try to be more informative, more interesting, and more sharing. Currently, I’m at a book fair with my book Resurrecting Onions and some 3D prints. The fact that I can do this post will tell you how it’s going here. I’d rather be digging in the yard.
Please don’t give up on me. I won’t give up on you either.
Until next time …
